These tiny and *quiet* - perfect for a tabletop fountain or terrarium. I currently use both in my class for small moss desktop gardens. I built these gardens in December to provide a calming interface for students preparing for and then taking their final exams. They've been in constant use ever since and do a great job, even if they've run dry a few times (not recommended, but a point for them!). I like the fact that they are speed adjustable (gph). The suction cups are great for keeping the pump in place, even with teens fiddling with it all the time. Both are in rectangular shallow dishes measuring about 10" x 7" x 2.5". Yes, they work in *that* shallow water! In general, they've made an impression on me.
