Review on Efficient And Secure Package Delivery With Step2 Express Box - Mocha, 31"H X 18"W X 23"D by Jaleel Akuffo

Carriers drive right by it

Five stars for looks if you want to spend $50 on what is essentially a trash can with DELIVERIES stamped into the mold. One star for effectiveness. The ad claims you can register your parcel box and "the major carriers will know to utilize it.” We’ve had 10 or so packages delivered since I placed it next to our mailbox a week ago. None of our deliveries were placed in this box. My front yard (and adjacent neighbor’s yard) is just grass, a mailbox, and this box. You can see it from about 100 feet in any direction. We live in a relatively remote area, package theft is not a concern. We bought this because an Best Buy driver did $400 of damage to our lawn trying to back out of our 100+ ft driveway (no snow on the ground, just a moron, $400 is the quote we got from a local vendor to repair (still waiting on that check, Best Buy)). I just spent another $20 on aluminum signs "STOP” and "<- Deliveries” I’m mounting to a pole and stand to put in my driveway to force the carriers to use it. Also, it might weigh 5lbs soaking wet so follow directions and buy a $4 15”x15” concrete block from a big box store so it doesn’t blow away. Looks good and will work in theory, but I was misled by the ad, the links on the documents included with this box for the major carriers either don’t work or do not allow you to specify to use this box when delivering - 3 stars.
