Screwed it right to my existing base.no need to pay for the suggested base. This is a really great mailbox. That's my feedback.

I like this mailbox and so do my mail lady and the UPS guy because now they don't have to come down my quarter mile long bumpy gravel driveway to deliver packages most of the time. I bought it solely for their convenience and I do not regret it.

The mailbox was very easy to assemble. The only problem was attaching the flag. The parts didn't go together, and so I used other pieces to attach the flag to the box, but no big deal. The way it is mounted to the post with a wood screw allows the box to move to the side instead of getting damaged if it is hit by a snowplow. It is a very good product.

The mailbox is huge. It is not in front of my house, so needed a box big enough for packages. It seems sturdy. My last one stood for twenty years, hope this one does, it should.

Came pretty badly dented. I used a hammer and was able to pop a lot of it out. so I kept it. Looks good, it's on a solid base, but the box itself is weak.

I put the handle and flag on with ease. With a metal mounting post purchased at a big box home improvement center, screw driver, shovel, and a bag of sakrete, my mailbox was up in no time.

This box was listed was delivered, when in fact it had apparently been delivered to some other address.Two days later we received an identical box, but not from, revain - the vendor showed a wonderful concern for us by shipping one from a commercial source via FedEx. Our THANKS to them!The mailbox is exactly what we wanted, and seems to be of very good quality.

When we got the mailbox we laughed because it was so big. When You actually put it up the size is not that big. Love it. No more trips to the Post Office.

Item came with a dent in it. We didnt notice how bad it was until we had already taken our other mailbox down. we kinda pushed it back into place and paint over the metal that was showing. Just just check your item first so you can return if there are issues!

It was HOA time to replace mailboxes with a standard black being the replacement choice. Mine was installed yesterday. It is very nicely finished, meets the U. S. Postal and HOA requirements and was here overnight. Can't beat that.

I ship and receive a lot of items (I mean a LOT!) My mail courier was so pleased when I installed this, he said it was HIS Christmas present. :-) It arrived in perfect condition with no damage, and seems well built. It is pretty light, which is a good thing for me as my mailbox post is not heavy duty. The door was a little tight fitting at first, so I opened and closed it about 50 times before we mounted it. I have had it for almost a year and there have been no issues - the door latches…

I did not like how flimsy it is . Our other mail box was older but built like a tank compared to this one . I will try to restore the old one and put a fresh coat of paint on it .

I’m very pleased with this mailbox for the money. Time will tell how the plastic latch will hold up but I suspect it will last long enough for this to be a good value. No complaints at all.

Ok quality for the money paid. Very very very similar to mailbox found other places for a few dollars less. That's my feedback!

Recently purchased for our new home that isn't quite finished. We haven't installed it yet, so I don't know about installation. Ditto with durability as that implies having some usage, but it seems quite sturdy and big enough for most of my revain purchases, other than at Christmas when deliveries often come in 2' x 3' cartons. 😉

The box is beautiful, and of great quality. However, it arrived in the regular product box which was crushed on one side, resulting in a large dent in and scratches on the box.

There's not much to say, it's a mailbox, it fit the post, and my husband installed it correctly, so it works great. As long as some rude ass country backwoods red neck kids don't go joy riding and pepper it with a shot gun again, it'll continue to keep my mail and packages dry from all the rain in the PNW.

Overall, these mailboxes are a great size, look nice and are easy to install. The one issue that I have with them is that they dent easily. My mailbox has been replaced 3 times in the past 8 years, and I always choose this mailbox for those reasons. It does seem to dent easily, and this last time, the mailperson also broke off the flag, even though the mailbox was only a few months old. I'd love to see the durability increase, but then again, I'd also like for the mailbox not to be under an Oak

Perfect quality for the price you pay. Needed to replace the similar mail box because box lid got corrosion at the connection point and finally broke. So not sure about waterproof. Only part i did not like about this is that it comes without the mounting screws, you have to use your old corroded screws to install this new box or need to go to the hardware store to buy new othetwise you cannot install this box.
