This conductor stood for me, I won't say for how long. I'm pretty handy (installed or hung 22 new cabinets in the kitchen and three bathrooms), but after getting a fourth replacement door for one of my cubicles, which this time (!) wasn't drilled for concealed hinges, I stopped. now because I didn't want to be the one to screw it up myself. When I finally took on the task, this device worked flawlessly and easily. I have a drill press, but I did NOT need it - just my 3/8" hand drill. You need to know the diameter of the hinge cup holes (mine is 35mm, which fits this jig) and you need to know the offset of the hinge from the edge of the door (this jig can be set to many offsets measured in 1mm increments) .hole and adjust the tool offset setting accordingly. At the same time you can match the screw holes to the hinges for your specific hinges - there are also three alternatives, one of which is perfect for my hinges. Finally, you use that existing hole to properly latch the depth socket so you don't have to drill through the front of your new cabinet door. :) I cut slowly, vacuuming the cuttings frequently to make sure I could see what the drill was doing Two, three new holes Install the original hinges on the new door and Boom, hang them on the closet - install or The original cab frame tap holes are perfect. Did. I liked it very much! (Note I only needed 3 new cup holes but the drill seems to be of good quality and should do a lot more.)
