Review on Posi Tap® Connectors 10 12 Gauge Bulk by Ryan Saxton

This is by far the best wire connector available if your wires are 12 gauge or smaller. I have 10 gauge main wires coming from the power supply and 18 gauge wires going to the individual lights. I have a few smaller 12 gauge loops running off a 10 gauge main line. The 10 gauge shielded wires are too thick to fit in the socket, so I had to cut the outer sheath of the wires to get them into the socket. 12 gauge shielded wires are fine, but only if you angle them properly as the case is thicker on the sides. Overall I am happy with the connectors, they are better than all the dumb cheap connectors on the market. But they should make them for heavier gauge wires.
