This toaster looks nice on the counter, but if you want to toast something, be prepared to wait. This is the slowest toaster I have ever seen. I love it when my waffles are crispy in the toaster, and to get them that way I have to set them on the highest setting (#6 - 3.5 mins) and then again on #2 (2 mins) for 5 1/2 minutes total. The 30 year old toaster we replaced did the same in half the time. Our old toaster also allowed us to turn off the second slot for a slice. It's not this one. I really cannot recommend this toaster.
