Great for my castings!

I have bought this brand several times. I have also bought other brands. I ONLY do auditions. I usually take 1 gallon but decided to start with 2 gallons. I have not noticed any yellowing in any of the bottles I have received. I do notice bubbles but I see no more than other brands I've bought. This brand allows me to do what I do a little longer than other brands. I do not know why. I live in Texas where it's always warm or hot but for medical reasons. My house temperature *never* exceeds 68 degrees. Never. I mix something different than what I've read, how others do it, and what's on offer. I mix my epoxy in 10 ounce beakers. I've used larger mugs, but I've found that 10 ounce mugs or less work better, even if I have to use 3 or 4 mugs for a larger project. Stir with a tongue depressor for 5 minutes, then leave on for 5-10 minutes. During these 5-10 minutes I light the bubbles, usually 3 times, sometimes just 2 times. Just before I go to pour, I light again. It's when I add coloring (mica and/or alcohol ink) and/or glitter - or other cool stuff. I re-light lightly and hold the burner about 6 inches above the cup so the cup doesn't melt. When I start pouring, the resin is clear and there are almost no bubbles. If there are bubbles after filling, I use an acupuncture needle to puncture them. I very rarely use the torch when the resin is in the mold. I messed up a few molds in the process (when I started pouring) so I quit. I check my molds every 30 minutes and if no bubbles or dust fall in, after 2 hours. .My goods usually get solid within 8 hours. When I make my candle sheets I demold them because they are hard enough not to lose their shape, don't "drip" and are malleable enough that I can bend them into a curved shape. My husband and I made something that I use to shape my panels. My only "complaint" is that this stuff smells like smelly feet. 😳 Seriously, I'm a double mask, I open windows and fans go around where I work. My husband says I have a sensitive sense of smell because he can't smell it. But one should never be too careful when using epoxy. I like that the hardener is like water and the resin is very thick. This helps me make sure I'm not doubling down like I used to. My experience with this particular brand is excellent. I didn't have any negative questions. I think the price for the 2 gallon kit is worth it. In a few days I will post some photos of what I made (I had to clean everything up as we had the windows replaced).
