Review on Empty Balm Tubes Clear Transparent by Amy Hodgson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect. No leaks. Slightly wider than usual.

Firstly - I received these on 3/10/20 - THEY DO NOT LEAK. I don't know if they changed the hoses or if people had problems, but I purposely took three straight out of the bag (without turning the bottom or anything) to see if it was leaking and none of them leaked . Btw if you ever have this problem make sure the tubes are fully rolled up as sometimes they curl up a bit and it creates a mess. I recommend using plastic syringes to fill them, you can get a large pack for around $10-15 on Amazon (or less for less but I'm talking best price lol) and it's a worthwhile investment if you Make cosmetics, even if it's not a lip balm. The tubes themselves are of excellent quality. The caps snap well and are strong (I hate when caps actually bend - it seems so cheap y'know?) and you can make very professional grade balms with these tubes. My ONLY "complaint" (not entirely their fault) is that the Avery labels that most people use, especially those of us who don't have a laser printer to make our own labels, are A BIT large. You can stick them 1000000% to make them look amazing and not hanging down from above or below. I think it would be possible to apply them so that the sticker is EXACTLY the same size, rather than rushing them on you have to be very precise and apply each label carefully. A little annoying when you're making tons of these. So if you already have labels from Avery, keep that in mind. Why does the sticker fit the way it fits? But then again, you CAN get them to run smooth and look good - it just takes time if you have those special labels. If you have something at the very end of the label that you WANT to cover with the other side (like mine, all natural, so one of my ingredients that has a name that sounds like chemistry has a star next to it, and at the very bottom I have I said "*this ingredient is derived from soybean oil" or something like that haha, so I wish it was coated). Note that the top of the letters is visible as they are slightly wider and therefore the stickers don't overlap as much as they normally would. I've been making lip balms for about a year and have used at least five different ones. This is my second favorite at the moment but the others are way too expensive so I will be using them from now on! You look really great! not to be I think for the price they are a lot better quality than you might expect and as for the stickers I will honestly use a different brand of stickers next time because it took me a while to find clear tubes, those who don't have them don't look cheap, they're strong and comfortable. As a final note, while they contain the same amount of product as your typical tube of lip balm, they are slightly wider and shorter. But nothing crazy.
