They're plastic, but heavy plastic. They are indestructible unless you really work at them; so better than glass. I've dropped mine a few times and never had a problem. In the picture you can see black and neutral "plugs". Depending on what you put in the tubes, the plugs "lubricate". (I use it for castor oil for eyelash growth. It actually works, by the way.) One day the stopper with the applicator came up and got stuck in the neck of the applicator wand, leaving part of the tube "open". (see photo) I have removed the stopper from the applicator and hold it in place when removing the applicator. This is really the only scam I've seen. The funnels are cute, but totally useless for anything of any viscosity (like castor oil). (See image.) I ended up using a 10 x 1.5 inch syringe my nurse gave me. It was an arduous process, but I finally made it. These vials are really great quality. The spoolie brush is well distributed and firm. The eyeliner brush has a good tip and the bristles are just the right stiffness and length to "line" your lash line. Don't be shy. You won't be disappointed at a fraction of the cost of the sellers here.
