So I bought each of my sons the same jacket. I chose 6-12 months for the youngest, who is 4 months old, but he has usually been in clothes for 6-9 months and I figured this size would be best for at least most of the fall and winter. I bought a 2T for my little one who will be 2 in a few months, he is tall and skinny and goes well with other brands of 2Ts. As you can see the size difference between the jackets I bought for the kids is 18 months. light. You get about a half inch in torso length and maybe an inch in the sleeves, and I literally can't see any difference in width. They are soft, they have just the thickness and warmth I need for an autumn/light winter jacket. , but the elasticity of the material is unrelenting, which isn't ideal if the size seems wrong. A baby jacket will work well as it appears to be at least the right size and comparable to other brands' products of the same size. The 2T fits my little one but only because he's slim but doesn't allow much room for layers underneath (which you might want to do in the cooler months) and secondly because he's growing at all it would be a crop top. (It's also significantly smaller than all the other jackets and hoodies 2T has to offer.) So be careful about sizing (I can't endlessly say "one size up" if 6-12 months was fine) and be You ready to go back and try a different size.
