Review on 🍽️ Adjustable Kitchen Platform Guardrail: Standing Home Store for Children by Samantha Carlisle

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product with some small flaws

Great to have a kids kitchen worktop like this so my little one can use it and help me when I'm in the kitchen and she wants to be in the action. I wish I had something like this growing up because I'm small (4ft 10in) and always had to climb up the shelves to get things (I still do!). So this particular kitchen stool has both good and (in my opinion) not so good features and I'm giving it an overall rating of around 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. Let's start with the good. Firstly, the fully assembled product feels very solid so far as it's heavy and balanced enough not to tip over easily, which is great from a safety standpoint. Because we all know that our children's safety is SUPER important and should be their number one priority with any product. height as needed. I also like that the standing tiers require screws so there is less chance of them coming out of those little legs when standing on them. The assembly wasn't super complicated but it took some effort to work. The instructions seemed pretty straightforward and all the parts were correctly labeled, along with the right amount of gear needed. None of the parts were damaged or anything and everything fitted together correctly, so I didn't have any problems for us in that regard. Although it took my husband and I about 30 minutes to get together. We ended up using our electric screwdriver instead of a manual one. I also really like that in some cases it can be used as a chair for my child if needed. Price of the chair (about $85 at the time of this review) This is a great deal in my opinion and I definitely like it because you can find similar products for up to $200 which is way too much for me and my budget. able to stand next to me and see and participate in the kitchen activities. It's going to be loads of fun and very useful for the holidays as we bake cookies and other holiday dishes this year and I'm really excited to be able to use it for that. Opinion). This thing is heavy, which is good because it's solid, but it's not easy to move. To prevent the parts from loosening over time and causing unnecessary wear, I would recommend lifting them up to get them in place rather than lugging them around. But it's cumbersome and my kid who is almost 3 years old definitely won't be able to move it (maybe that's a good thing I think). That makes it less convenient in that regard. So I might try adding some strips to the legs to make it slide a little easier on the tiles in the kitchen. Also when assembling you need to be very careful as the holes can easily be torn off if you are not careful. Another issue (I would say this is my biggest issue) for me is the removable "guard". I really had to keep an eye on my daughter for this part (obviously adults should know not to leave a child unsupervised with something like this) especially as she seems to want to hold him down and undress him and I'm afraid she will be tempted to do it to hold on to, or it'll come loose as she goes down, so to be honest I'd rather either not attach it at all or snap it with a better mechanism than the one he has. I just feel like I'm missing an element of security in that aspect. I also really wish the bottom step was a little wider for her to step on. There isn't much room in it for balancing on unsteady legs. It's not a big problem, but if there was more space I'd be happier. Overall I like this stool and am happy with it so I recommend it but just considering the few issues I mentioned.
