We were so excited to get this for our daughter but my husband found the pieces were miscut and mismatched when put together. We tried a lot and had to go back. Very disappointed.

I was so excited when I got this - the price is great compared to others but when unpacked it still looks great. However, as I began assembling, I quickly realized that the slots where the pieces were supposed to slide together weren't sized correctly. As a result, when you try to twist them together, the wood will split. I suppose I could have sanded them to fit, but I didn't have to. Very disappointing.

Great to have a kids kitchen worktop like this so my little one can use it and help me when I'm in the kitchen and she wants to be in the action. I wish I had something like this growing up because I'm small (4ft 10in) and always had to climb up the shelves to get things (I still do!).
