Review on MICHELIN Energy XM2+ 175/70 R13 82T summer by Adam Pietras ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

Purchased 205/55/R16 tires with a 6-week warranty from 2022 for the Skoda Octavia Tour. Skoda Octavia Tour 2022 1.6 akl. Bridgestone Turanza T001 was set as the new ride height when the front suspension silents were replaced. And I blew them down to 1.8 on my car, which is pretty hard oak. When I was looking for a replacement, I debated whether this Bridgestone Turanza T005 or this Michelin Energy XM2+ would be a better option. On the sidewall of the shoe, it is impossible to tell if the pressure is 1.5 or 2.0. (Micro creasing on the front axle at what at 1.5 and what at 2.0) The standard manometer is utilized throughout all of the experiments. Feelings: at 2.0 on both the front and the rear, the ride is softer and more elastic, but it is not soft. However, the teeth do not make the knocking sound they did at 2.0 on Turanza T001. Does not gobble up the smaller pits but does a good job of softening. There hasn't been any noise coming from it as of yet. As a consequence of this, you may in theory have an armor-piercing thick tire with good rubber, but you should not expect the tire to be flexible on a suspension that is stiff. So far I've drove 100km in total. I would like to add a call at a later time if it is possible. I bought it, so when it was still chilly in the Crimea, I was seeking for the production of Poland, but someone else bought it in 2022. -Supplement 03/31/2022- I bought it. Rubber when it is cold +5 +11 = buzzing, a tiny bit of dubeet. As you drive it up to +15, it becomes obvious that the rubber is pliable, despite its fullness. Now I'm scared that it might float off the asphalt in Crimea when the temperature rises above +40 degrees in the shade.

Pros
  • Long-lasting thick elastic sidewalls elastic sidewalls
Cons
  • Expensive. This is to be expected with a strong suspension, but there should be no wow effect.
