Review on 🛵 Detachable Passenger Backrest & Luggage Rack for Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 VN650 2015-2019: Ultimate Riding Comfort and Convenient Storage by Zac Pewitt

Neither Yamaha nor the aftermarket designed a crossbar, backrest or luggage rack for the SCR950. This backrest/luggage crossbar is for the Yamaha Bolt but I adapted it to my SCR by exiting the trunk by inserting the front support bolt into the factory bolt hole (just above the rear shock) and drill a 3/ 8" hole in the rear fender for the rear support. Install the luggage rack and also slide the tray under the rear brake/turn signal assembly; However, all you can carry on the trunk would be the rear brake light and possibly too dim the turn signals.Bolt is a single seat bike;The SCR has a retro style double seat.As I only wanted a backrest so my girlfriend wouldn't fall off the bike this was the only solution I could find other than the backrest individually I think the backrest enhances the look of the SCR and my girlfriend is VERY glad I put it in.
