HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FILTER SHOULDER! It is cheap insurance against water/moisture being sucked into the filter as well as another layer of protection against dirt. Helps extend filter cleaning time. The filter bowl is very easy to install. Both ends of the bandage have elastic rings sewn into the main bandage. One end has a larger opening that slides over the filter first, then the narrow end of the wrap fits snugly into the chrome filter cap. The foil can be easily removed when it gets dirty so you can just leave the filter running on its own or rinse/dry the foil and put it back in. You can't go wrong with this item and they come in a range of different colours!
