While it says it works with newer ROKUs and not ROKUs, that's far from not true. Only a small number of expected ROKU features work. For example, you cannot go back one menu. Instead, you usually have to go all the way back to the ROKU home screen and start again by selecting the app you want, launching it, and navigating to the new location or show you want. This is especially true when you are watching YouTube or YouTube TV. I watch them often so that was all I needed to know to get that remote back. There are two back buttons on the remote, but like the asterisk, they don't do anything when you're using ROKU, even though they're key buttons for ROKU. Only the forward and rewind functions work. So if you have a ROKU and want to control it, this probably isn't the remote for you.
