Best $15 spent and a time saver too.

Best $15 ever spent. I bought a Samsung TV to replace my Vizio TV. I have a Vizio soundbar that has volume control with a wired remote programmed for the TV. When I connected the Samsung to the wired remote, I couldn't adjust the volume on the soundbar. I tried programming the AUX with the Vizio TV code but to no avail. I called the cable company. Vain. Called Visio to no avail. I didn't want to spend more than $50 on a $120 soundbar remote. I was ready to buy a new soundbar, but Vizio couldn't

Big disadvantage for newer Samsung TVs

I bought this remote control to use only between a receiver and a Samsung TV. For the most part, this is a decent universal remote. It looks good, is relatively thin and the button presses are responsive. Unfortunately, there is one major downside to using this remote control with new Samsung Smart TVs. The button that you think will take you back to the page in the app you are using completely closes the app. Even worse, there is no back button on this remote for Samsung. For example, if…

Only Half Works With ROKU

While it says it works with newer ROKUs and not ROKUs, that's far from not true. Only a small number of expected ROKU features work. For example, you cannot go back one menu. Instead, you usually have to go all the way back to the ROKU home screen and start again by selecting the app you want, launching it, and navigating to the new location or show you want. This is especially true when you are watching YouTube or YouTube TV. I watch them often so that was all I needed to know to get that…

GE is now more intuitive than Apple

I have a new Apple TV and the remote control is terrible. I'm not kidding, it's really awful. If you put your Apple TV remote next to you and, god forbid, accidentally touch it, you've jumped 40 minutes and ruined the ending of your favorite movie. Two people on the couch? Forget it. Luckily, THIS remote doesn't care if you accidentally touch it - it just ignores it and lets you get on with what you're doing. There is no judgement. Because he knows it was just an accident. It doesn't go into a…

Most devices work fine

I ended up buying two universal remotes for 6 devices, one for each room. I have a newer Samsung TV, Roku Ultra, Samsung Blu-Ray, Yamaha home theater amp in the living room and an older Samsung TV, Roku Ultra, Samsung Blu-Ray, and Onkyo soundbar in the bedroom. The remote controls everything. Their commonly used functions are nice and simple, with one big exception. Yamaha is notorious for making devices that only work fully with Yamaha remote controls. I can control almost all routine…

Young stupid and full of rum!

Getting Started . I'm a big couch potato and mostly own Samsung and Roku. I hate changing remotes so I ordered these. let me tell you Best damn $10 I've ever spent. Works for both right out of the box with no codes required! Click Cable for Roku. This is where the stupid part begins. So I get a package in the mail and say let me pour some rum and coke and play around with it later. After downing about a pint, I punched in the codes from the service book and half the buttons didn't work. I'm…
