I bought this remote control to use only between a receiver and a Samsung TV. For the most part, this is a decent universal remote. It looks good, is relatively thin and the button presses are responsive. Unfortunately, there is one major downside to using this remote control with new Samsung Smart TVs. The button that you think will take you back to the page in the app you are using completely closes the app. Even worse, there is no back button on this remote for Samsung. For example, if you're watching a show on Hulu and select a show for more information, you can't go back to the previous screen. Your only option is to exit the app completely and start over. I have tried using every Samsung TV remote control code listed in the manual but unfortunately the problem persists.
