Decent filtering for fish and aquatic animals

I've been using these filters for a few months now and haven't had any problems with decay as stated in a previous review. I change a filter cartridge every two to three weeks, which means that at least one cartridge stays in the filter for about two months. They seem to pick up fine debris fairly well, and the squeegee catches larger debris. I use this along with a canister filter.
