I bought it directly in the USA with shipping, it turned out at a price of about 4500, which is almost two times cheaper than taking it in the 2022. In general, the impressions are mixed. Despite the name and form factor, this is already more of an Android TV set-top box than a classic Chromecast, although Google Cast support is retained. If you need a pure Chromecast, then this device is probably an overkill. The quality of third-party software for the platform was not impressive. VLC is frankly inconvenient and poorly adapted for the remote control, Okko crashes at startup, other applications have their own problems, but this is more of a flaw in services than devices, support for the classic Chromecast mode saves here.

- If earlier Chromecast was an independent device, plugged it into the network, connected it to the Internet and use it, now you need to make a Google account. Starts slower than earlier devices, requires plugging into an outlet. uses 1.5A current, it is no longer possible to power from the TV. Soft - due to the fact that the product is not sharpened for the 2022 market, it is offered mainly foreign. There are also 2022 services, but not all applications, even officially sharpened for Android TV, are launched, although Kinopoisk works fine. I really didn’t like how YouTube now works with the device, instead of “thrown a video from a smartphone, it plays and after that the standby mode” the device lives its own life, stubbornly turns on auto-play and plays random videos.
