Seems like a soft cute and useful rug right away after mb 30 mins off gassing for me even w chem sensitivity pretty good.Has a nonslip backing that I have to test against Pergo flooring in hotels and apartments when I travel, also planning to use this to put on top of a bed for my small dogs, it makes a nice mat instead of the regular comforter or blanket if you feed your dogs in bed as I do when I’m chronically ill etc.Might be a bit difficult to get bits and parts out of the fur if they are sticky but for the money, one can likely afford to wash it and replace it fairly quickly if it gets damaged. Not expecting it to last forever but hoping it will be somewhat durable.Time will tell.I have not put it through the wash yet so will update on ease of cleaning if possible.Overall would recommend for a variety of uses and if you just need a soft comfy play mat to throw down and are not worried about offgassing smells or what it’s made of completely that’s an easy choice. Washer will be hopefully ok.will air dry only and cold wash if I do try. will update on ease of cleaning if possible.
