Needed to split a HD digital cable line. It was Super Bowl time and I wanted to install two 50+ HDTVs in my living room. I know it seems like an exaggeration, but I knew that with over 50 guests crammed into my family room, we had no way of fitting around a TV. I borrowed my friend's HDTV and brought a cable box downstairs from my bedroom. All I needed was a way to separate the digital cable line from the wall. between the two cable boxes I had below. This splitter was used here. I already had a few extra feet of coaxial cable. So I used it to feed into the splitter and then used the coax cables that came with the cable boxes at the other end. Everything worked great. The picture looked ok, no complaints from viewers.
