I'm 5'1" and about 200 pounds and the plus size fits me snugly and snugly. I always wear a sweatshirt when riding to hide my fat haha. This vest hides my fat and allows me to ride in shirts. I have this little protection on my torso that protects me from skin rashes in the event of a minor accident. I was imagining a thin cheap vest but when I unpacked it it was heavy! Looks good, two pockets on the outside and one on the inside of the vest. The two outer pockets can hold two soda cans or a water bottle and leave little space. A can of soda fits in the inner pocket and there is little space left. You get ventilation on the sides where the shoulder straps are located. The zipper is big and thick, so you don't have to worry about it breaking. That's good, but once you break it in, I'm sure it'll be even more comfortable. The only downside I've seen with other vests is that the lining is fixed. Other vests I've seen allow you to unzip the lining and that usually helps when you have 3 MC patches on your back. If you remove the lining you can put it back on after patching and this vest has your lining looking sewn when you patch it. It doesn't concern me, so I don't care. The lining looks great and gives a Harley feeling with orange lines.
