They're good, IF you replace the batteries.
These units out of the box are a 1 star products. The battery shipped with these is only 300 mA which means you'll get only a few hours of light from them. I've swapped them out with Duracell rechargeable batteries and they run MUCH LONGER, as in all night!The LED is dim enough to be able to see a footpath, but bright enough not to be annoying. The material is completely plastic minus the LED, solar panel, and conversion board. Overall I'd say the units are worth the price as long as you understand the supplied batteries just need thrown away and swapped out.
