*** I bought this to replace a MANUAL Saturn ION-2 2007 passenger side. After a nice guy hit my car in the parking lot -___ -----------TRY . Try to determine which side mirror is the real one and which side mirror is a replacement. I DARE YOU.--Packaging Just a note The product was fairly well insulated. Came filled with air bubbles to ensure it doesn't get damaged. Also, the mirror itself is pretty durable, so I doubt you'll get hurt too much. Shipping .---What's coming1. This product comes with a foam backing that is used to isolate the side view mirror from your vehicle to ensure a snug fit. Really durable style2. Spare set of screws and bolts3. Electric replacement mirror. ---Installation. Simply remove the inner cover, unscrew the three screws already on the inside, take out the old mirror and screw on the new one. (Just reverse the removal process - nothing special) I didn't have power mirrors on my Saturn Ion so I just stuck the wires into the part between the cover and the car's metal frame. never did it Before. Total time? 30 minutes. ---Quality testing of virtually every part of the replacement mirror meets or exceeds OEM quality for this product. This product is almost exactly the same as the 2007 OEM Saturn ION-2. I mean every little curve, bulge and crevice is amazing. And the cost? Approximately 1/3 for a NEW replacement from this company compared to a USED from an OEM. Original. While the foam pad was not brittle, it did not feel flexible or pliable enough to completely fill the space. So I used a new mirror and new screws, but ended up using OEM foam. what else I had. Hence -1 star for that. Otherwise a perfect replacement for my baby Saturn!
