$$ saved and another service call!

Get this for your plumbing kit, it's a lifesaver! Our HVAC condensate drain line was still clogged after a repair call that supposedly fixed it. The air conditioner has shut down again because the drain sensor has caused the shutdown again. I watched some YouTube videos, saw a mechanic doing it and started looking for one. Only found here, as soon as we received it we slipped a small PVC connector onto the water hose that was inserted into the threads and attached it to the outside of the PVC pipe end of the condensate line. Then we went to the dealer with a shop vacuum cleaner with this connection. We attached the right angle connector to the black end and then to the PVC tubing coming out of the air conditioner. The green end fits my Ridgid shop vacuum perfectly and comes in a variety of sizes which I'm sure will fit several different models. Then I turned on the suction and my husband turned on the water. So he blew water out of the outlet of the condensate line from the outside and sucked it into the line from above with a workshop vacuum cleaner via this connection. It was only necessary to pulse the water and suction on and off several times within a few seconds, and suddenly the clog and the water were sucked into the vacuum cleaner. There was a lot of rubbish with small pieces of lime and rust. This saves us another service call and maybe even the installation of a new PVC condensate line, since the professionals could not clean it on the first try. I don't want to think about how much it will cost or damage the walls.
