Review on LaCie Professional USB C External STHA10000800 by Wayne Drakh

Got a 10 TB hard drive version two days ago. Hooked it up yesterday and it works as it should. Formatted it for my computer and started transferring all personal and business information onto the drive. I woke up this morning to the message that the disk was not ejected properly. The drive could not be powered on again. I spent most of the day trying to figure out why. I couldn't find any suitable cables; just a tad smaller than any other adapter you may have laying around. I thought it was a cable/plug because there were 6 different adapters for the whole world in the kit. I ended up plugging this cable into my cordless phone and it started charging immediately, which narrowed it down to a defect in the drive. The Revain representative helped with the exchange, of course, but it's not very convenient for me to send back a floppy disk with all my information. I think it's better than not having $300 left. I'll give it another chance, but don't forget to get rid of the backup.
