This device broke down after 3 consecutive days of use. Absolutely not worth the $169 I paid. My usage is detailed below. Received date December 20, 2020 First use December 21 and December 22. 1470 negatives converted. Second use December 27 (today). After 515 conversions, a white vertical bar appeared on the left side of the screen. See uploaded photos. After some time, the vertical white stripe became three times wider. After another 10 minutes the screen started blinking - I was going insane. Watch the uploaded video. The white bar reduces the width of the converted negative frame. This means that part of the image is missing. I've turned off the device to rest and "reset" to no avail. In general, this device gives an overall green cast to the converted image. I only used it to convert 35mm negatives. I bought this device based on the reviews from the top reviewer who used this device along with the Brother brand for conversion. He posted photos to show the difference in quality between the two devices. He has done over 6000 conversions so I had high hopes for the conversion of my 35mm negatives even though I was only expecting acceptable quality, not top quality. I still have to go back to the converted images to remove the green cast, which will take quite a while. I don't really want to try a replacement right now. I can just use my good phone camera to take photos of the prints. :(
