Review on 🐠 Seachem Purigen 250ml: Superior Water Purifier for Aquariums by Diana Johnson

Tried the small bag first although it was great, bought this large bottle and bags, used 6 weeks. Each time I cleaned/charged the beads they always stayed clean and turned white again. I would take the extra step of soaking in 100% tap water for 24 hours after rinsing and even rinsing before putting it back in the filter after that extra soaking step. I wash every week. Last time (week 7) I got up the next morning after my shift to find my beautiful butterfly and red goldfish dead. I was devastated, I didn't do anything different than the previous 6 times. It took me a while to post this because I would have said something far worse back then. I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to and I'll be surprised if this review stands up. If you love your fish, use the most natural methods! Plants, lots of rocks, driftwood, organic environments create good bacteria and frequent small water changes. I figured I could cheat to save time. Since then I've been getting ready. My fish were almost 3 years old!
