I ordered this fan through my Prime account because I like the free two day shipping and it keeps me from going into town , to hire me in stores goods. The product arrived exactly on the expected date in the original packaging. The box was in very good condition and was not damaged during shipping. Opening the package was easy. The tape ripped off easily and the fan was adequately protected so I didn't have to worry about damaging my purchase. In my 23 years as a homeowner, I've learned that Hunter fans are the cream of the crop. This is a beautiful fan. The colors are rich and the fan was the look I was aiming for in my new home. The brushed nickel matched the color scheme of our house, which is why we chose that color. The fan is well made and does not wobble or make any noise at the highest level. I used to install ceiling fans so I didn't read every word of the instructions. I just looked at the important details and started assembling the fan. This fan mounts to an 11ft ceiling, so I bought a 12" extension to allow the fan to easily hang under the standard mounting bar. The wiring that came with the fan was sufficient to install an extension cord. Pros: Easy installation. Quiet, with plenty of airflow - the perfect addition to my new home.
