I've been using Spire for a few months. Overall I like it, even if I have mixed feelings. Certainly there are pros and cons. Eventually I started using my dye rotor more and put the Spire back in my gear as a backup. Pros: - Large capacity - Quick loading lid which is easier to fill than Dye and still can be flipped. open to dump paintballs. -- Easy to open and requires no tools -- I've never had a stuck or broken ball. Cons: -- The feed mechanism is a bit more difficult to set up on low-recoil markers. It loads well with our Empire Ax and Planet Eclipse Etek 4 markers. However, it often fails (requiring shaking the master back and forth every few shots) on the same settings as my Planet Eclipse Ego LV1, which has less recoil. On a more sensitive setting, the rotor spins very frequently when you move.
