My parents have a really old Broan, not stainless steel, and they never cleaned it that much I got bored with the looks and the dirt and decided to get them new. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement so I stumbled upon this one. It was very light to unpack, which is good if you're installing it by yourself like I did. It doesn't feel cheap or expensive. Perfect fit for me. I had to modify the vent in the cabinets due to the location of the vent for a different one, but other than modifying the cab vent it was a pretty easy install, maybe easier if I had someone or a 2x4 supporting the hood. . Looks great and works great and I'll never have to look at the old greasy non-stainless steel look again. Expect some scratches upon installation, but try to limit yourself to a closed part like the sides and top, just FYI.
