So I got the 12oz. bottle with a straw for the same brand running vest (love the vest) As soon as I got it, I washed it and soaked it in hot saltwater (I read other reviews on how this would get rid of the plastic taste/smell) Nope. Every sip has a strong plastic taste. I've had it for a week and I've used it for five days. It's still the same. I hope it decreases over time.The nozzle is also really hard to get water out of. I don't want it to look like I'm squeezing my boob every time I get a sip, but that's another choice I have to live with.
