Looks the same as the picture. We drove two hours each way for our family camping trip. 1 strap was already torn off right out of the bag's packaging, everything else remained intact. I thought maybe 20 cu ft would be too big for a family of 5 but it was perfect. We could pack. a lot of space in this bag and free up space for heavier items in the car. I love this part! I used a bag with a roof rack. The family drove behind us and said the bag was secure on top, not realizing it was moving during the ride, so basically it was secure. Glad to have a non-slip mat in the bag and all those extra straps to secure it. Thick material - reminds me of very thick plastic or thick rubbery material (smooth to the touch), I don't remember what it's made of. When it's hot and the sun is shining, the material makes the bag feel hot when it's on the car. So be a little careful when touching them to unzip and get items out of the bag. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. I haven't had to use it in the rain so I don't know how it will hold up or if it's 100% waterproof. If I ever update my review.
