I love this product and have tried several brands. Some make a sound, these don't, and some pull my cat off the wall, but not this one. I have had this brand in 3 apartments so far and have never seen roaches: I was waiting to unwrap mine and after they were gone and I saw roaches for the first time in 5 years where I live I ordered them removed that night to give up. to discover the ones I had before. I love that you can turn the light on and off so I can turn it off. If you're still having trouble or have a really horrible infestation I also like to line my sinks with the Advion brand that the pros use - I had to add this once in the kitchen but they work great on their own if you don't full on breeding infestation. I recommend both for different purposes. Also, I never had to replace these while others broke. If you research you will also find that some others don't have a good range and you need a lot of them. I like to put one of these in every room, but it's good to use in corners, on doors and windows. I've always seen roaches in elevators and outside where I lived and even left the windows open every day for a year and a half, this is Florida so they were definitely in the building but couldn't get through my doors. or windows that still pretty much amaze me.
