I bought this to replace a Sony Walkman I have had since 2015. I tried using it the way I used my Walkman: plug in wired headphones, select a file to play, and reset the player in my bag while I go for a walk. I've never had any problems with the Walkman. This MP3 player keeps switching between files. It seems to play fine, but as soon as I put it in my pocket, it jumps to another file, plays for a few seconds, then jumps to another. I'm trying different orientations in different pockets but haven't found a solution yet. Will the touchpad controls or side buttons be pressed just because it's in my pocket? I do not know. The bag is spacious and empty except for the MP3 player. The player works great when I put it on a table, but that's not what I bought it for. When files are changed when I'm out in the sunlight, it's difficult to go back to the original file because the menu screen is unreadable unless you're in the shade. Sometimes turning your back on the sun is enough, but not always. Disappointing purchase but the Walkman is overpriced.
