Designed to display information about the Mini Cooper which has VERY little data on the dashboard. I wanted to see: water temp - oil pressure - intake air temp. It had over 90 OTHER items to display but I didn't need them. My display showed five (5) data points. 1 - IAT - Intake Air Temperature - this is generally correct - +/- about 5 degrees from ambient, under the hood, hot day etc. 2 - COOLANT (water temp) was FIFTY! degrees Fahrenheit is wrong. Thing is, I had a 225F coolant - when I ran 2 different diagnostics it was well below 180F.3 - Speed (mph) was consistently dropping 5%. with standard tires. and there is no way to calibrate it. If I was driving 25 (by GPS and speedometer) it would be 27 mph. IF I were aiming for 80 - I'd say 85-86.4 - volts, that would usually be a small undervoltage reading. 13.7 when the real voltmeter reads 14.5. Parasitic draw? Oh well. 5 - RPM - was generally correct - compared to the actual RPM gauge. SO MANY INCONSISTENCE - I THROW IT. No way to calibrate it - Tried downloading software - doesn't work. SAVE MONEY and get a REAL scan tool or REAL sensors.
