Review on π Metra XSVI-6502-NAV: Retain Accessory Power with Non-Amplified Non-OnStar Harness by Serguei Mracek
It just drains the battery.
The XSVI-6502-NAV is NOT the box you need for non-amplified Dodge Rams. Some time ago I bought an XSVI-6502 (without NAV) as pictured above. and it worked great. The first harness was damaged from trying to play Electrician/Mechanic so I had to buy another one. but I kept a small update box. In short, I no longer see the XSVI-6502 for sale. XSVI-6502-NAV only. Bad firmware is required for installation, otherwise the battery will be drained overnight. If you bought this, YOU MUST VISIT THE AXXESS WEBSITE AND GET HELP.
