Doesn't work best in automotive and vehicle electronics

so this is the correct part but it still can't get any sound as the Mo 06 Dodge Dakota Quad comes with a factory amp for this type of truck DO NOT BUY ONLY it's not worth it because they aren't cheap but they don't handle it well and I've never had a problem, this is my first

You'll only get a lot of buyer regrets!

Totally dissatisfied with this purchase! I had to order a new wiring harness from another company because it didn't work as advertised with my 2006 truck. And I had to make a lot of modifications to the radio mounting kit. If you don't have a lot of tools to change this product a lot, I don't recommend this at all! And as I said, I had to buy a new suspension on top of that. Dissatisfied!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • Requires socket

This allows the device to be used as a factory stereo system.

This item worked well. I replaced the factory 1.5 din stereo in a 2007 Dodge Ram with an aftermarket dual din stereo. Everything connected correctly. I read in another review that you have to turn on the ignition for 30 seconds before plugging in your new stereo. That's right. This allows the device to function like a factory stereo. I did that and it works great. The radio works with the key removed until I open the door.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Don't try to go without this pendant!

I bought a new navigation radio (double dinn size) that fits a 2007 Dodge charger that came with the standard radio. I got the wrong harness from Best Buy, but I was able to find the right one from Revain and the manufacturer's website. This wiring harness was correct and made installation easy. I couldn't believe how easy it made the installation. Easy instructions and reasonable price. I'm a real must for a proper install.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Legacy model

It just drains the battery.

The XSVI-6502-NAV is NOT the box you need for non-amplified Dodge Rams. Some time ago I bought an XSVI-6502 (without NAV) as pictured above. and it worked great. The first harness was damaged from trying to play Electrician/Mechanic so I had to buy another one. but I kept a small update box. In short, I no longer see the XSVI-6502 for sale. XSVI-6502-NAV only. Bad firmware is required for installation, otherwise the battery will be drained overnight. If you bought this, YOU MUST VISIT THE…

Not required when installed without reinforcement.

Bought this expensive wiring harness because it was said to be needed to install an aftermarket radio on a 2006 Dodge Ram. I followed the instructions carefully but it kept draining my battery. I even spent too much time using my phone and app to update device software. I ended up disassembling and reinstalling everything. After 3 days of dead batteries I was fed up and removed everything I had installed and reinstalled everything. This killed two $115 batteries, luckily I was able to claim…
