I received my mesh routers (3) yesterday and set them up last night. When I opened the box and unplugged the power cord (see photo) I found they had sent me a used kit or router. Armed with this, I realized I might run into some additional problems. Of course, the router's SSID was set by the previous owner (obviously someone named Decker) along with a new password. After performing a hard reset on the primary device, I had to go through the steps to reconnect the satellite devices. All in all, it took me about an hour to set everything up properly to get things talking, but overall not bad. The units themselves are in good condition with no signs of wear, so Decker probably hasn't used them in a very long time. So far the connection is solid with good speeds so I'm happy with the performance in my 2,300mΒ². Feet with two connected devices. on the ground floor and one on the 2nd. It has been less than 24 hours so I will come back to this post if there are any issues. However, 3 stars for sending a used device and charging a new device. Not at all happy about it.
