Review on 📻 Browning BR-TRUCKER Mirror-Mount Trucker Satellite Radio Antenna with Enhanced Ground Plane by Corey Krull

I already had one of these antenna types and knew what to expect. Then I was put in a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia. No mirror mount on the door for easy installation. Went to the rear of the cabin via the catwalk and secured to the vertical rail, forcing the antenna to anchor in a horizontal position. The radio didn't like that. (mounted horizontally) It crashes on and off as much or worse than a magnetic antenna. So I found that with one of the choke mounts on top of the cab you can mount the antenna directly on it. Not sure if this affected the vertical placement or the slightly higher antenna height, but I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and have never lost reception. Thus, the cable runs along the top of the cab. It hits the passenger door. Remove the rubber grommet at the top of the door frame. Slide the cable that stays inside the inner panel to the dashboard. Hide it in the molding just by the window. Looks great. Works even better.
