📻 Browning BR-TRUCKER Mirror-Mount Trucker Satellite Radio Antenna with Enhanced Ground Plane Review

I have traveled to 48 states. And this antenna is by far the best I've ever had. The only problem I've had is the cable, and you can replace it at any rest stop that sells satellite radios and accessories. I never lose signal except in a tunnel or something blocking the satellite signal. But trees, clouds, etc. Reception will not be affected.

I am an OTR truck driver and I like listening to my satellite radio. The only problem though is when I really wanted to hear something. I would lose the signal. I looked at $69.00 Truck Stops and read all the reviews. I've finally decided on this Browning Trucker satellite dish and I'm not only satisfied, I'm just thrilled! This thing is amazing! I didn't even lose signal climbing Eagle Mountain on I-24 in Tennessee, driving both east and west directions! That's incredible!

The Browning BR-Trucker is by far one of the best satellite receiver antennas I have found. If you can put an antenna on your car and be versatile, I highly recommend it. I live in the Northwest where many trees tower over the freeway and this antenna picks up satellite stations without much interruption or distortion. HAM antennas mean a lot to me so if you are looking to improve your reception I would recommend this antenna.

Excellent XM mirror mount antenna! Reliable little device, arrived well packaged and easy to assemble. Clear, crisp reception and one of the first I've seen with an interchangeable cable. I had to throw one away because the plug broke and I'm not happy about that! I see reviews from people who have a faulty plug. Sometimes this happens with cables for each antenna model. I don't usually write reviews, but this product needs a few words. I have a Volvo VNL 780. I had constant trouble turning the satellite radio on and off, even in an open area. I bought a Revain magnetic antenna and installed it on top of the cab. Reception improved but as I drove north the reception dropped. Nothing on the roof was blocking reception. So I tried the mirror mount. Now I had better reception than my F450. Even in the mountains, no signal is lost. And the included cable is MUCH…

I already had one of these antenna types and knew what to expect. Then I was put in a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia. No mirror mount on the door for easy installation. Went to the rear of the cabin via the catwalk and secured to the vertical rail, forcing the antenna to anchor in a horizontal position. The radio didn't like that. This is a great antenna. It comes with a very long "mini coax" cable with gold plated ends. The length is definitely long enough for you to direct it where you want it. The connector on the antenna comes with a weatherproof rubber boot, and the end that connects to the radio dock has a 90 degree bend to fit properly.
