Very well packaged, sealed and bubble wrapped. Item was exactly as described, very high quality and well assembled. I was just as skeptical as you about the price but that's the real deal. Installed this morning, North Dakota winter -12°F. Pickup started and runs great. I will update this review if I encounter any issues. My repair shop charged $130 for the "factory" part and another $90 labor to install the part. It took me 5 minutes to take the old one out and put the new one in. A quick note: most motors have 2, so do yourself a favor and replace both (if your motor has 2). The repair shop wanted to replace it with the exact same part that broke, with poorly attached shields that got sucked into the solenoid in the first place. These replacement parts solved this problem by wrapping a spring around the screens to hold them in place. I would definitely choose this over a "factory" part, not to mention it's a fraction of the price!
