Review on 🪑 Optimized Search: Modway Calibrate Gray Mesh Drafting - Reception Desk Chair - Tall Office Chair by Jason Sluck

I know most office furniture is mass produced, but this chair reigns supreme. Inside was a mass of materials filled with very cheap, crumbly styrofoam (the worst kind of styrofoam). When I unpacked everything I found there were no instructions. Footrest, this is a round hollow metal tube in which you can hear a small particle rolling (very annoying). The plastic that the rollers are attached to has fairly badly cut ends as you can see in one of my photos. Inexpensive manufacturing process! The foam seat has a very strong chemical smell. Not particularly bad, but strong when you get to it. I can't help but wonder what it is. I believe they are also Chinese endocrine disruptors. One of the control knobs was dented/scratched and not something in the shipping process. They were all stained with some kind of film. The final straw for me was when trying to install the metal control bracket on the underside of the seat, I discovered that one of the screw holes was pre-drilled! I very carefully tried to drive a couple of screws into this hole from every angle I could think of, but couldn't turn the screw more than 1/4 of the way. Obviously this is a problem that cannot be ignored. So I throw everything back in the box and report to Revain. Completely unacceptable garbage. For the price I paid for it you would expect some care, but the people who made this crap clearly don't care about you or the quality of their product. It's just massive Chinese junk produced to reduce the quality of the product in favor of cheap profits.
