I used this product to send HDMI video from my cable box/TV area to another location 12m away and the picture and sound quality was perfect. Second, although the audio and video were perfectly in sync, there is a slight lag of 1/10th of a second (or less) in the video and audio compared to the original. When using an audio source, the video lag is imperceptible. I used a 50 foot ethernet ribbon cable to run under the carpet. I've used this cable twice more with great results, highly recommend and it's available in white or black.
