Review on Mevotech MS30500 Lower Suspension Joint by Dustin Berry

I used this as a replacement on my 2005 G35x. A few things to know: The ball joint is perfect for the steering knuckle. (Apply lubricant to the rim to facilitate sliding). However, the shim shaft is not the same size as the OEM. It is much thinner and therefore creates a gap between the shaft and the seal (see fig.). Shim matches the original very closely. (I know because it was PITA). I'm not sure what the guys meant when they said the ball joint doesn't fit 4WD models. I used it anyway since it was already pressed in, so I applied a hell of a ton of thread sealant to fill the gap (sort of) and really tightened the bolt. Mind you, the screw is 7/8 versus 22mm on the OEM model. You may also want to add a washer. I want Mevotech to add a seal to the product!
