Good quality ball joint. The only thing I wanted was for the connector to come with a new seal for the upper thread. You must either use the old one if it's intact or buy a new one. It still seems to be holding up! 03 g35 sedan.

WILL NOT FIT 2005 Infiniti G35 Sedan matching chart is wrong. I should have listened to other reviews where people were saying the same thing about their cars. The ball joint is supplied without a seal and the factory seal will not fit. The stem is narrower and the OEM seal (I even tried the OEM seal after it came out) is a loose fit with lots of play. Not sure. Take the ball joint that comes with the gasket.

I used this as a replacement on my 2005 G35x. A few things to know: The ball joint is perfect for the steering knuckle. (Apply lubricant to the rim to facilitate sliding). However, the shim shaft is not the same size as the OEM. It is much thinner and therefore creates a gap between the shaft and the seal (see fig.). Shim matches the original very closely.
