Beautiful & Rustic Bubblehead Bottle Opener

I got this as a gift from my son for my birthday. He is very proud to have found something related to a submarine .it was great.I like the idea of the gift itself but it's a bit harder for me to see the object. The sculptor does a sand cast and pours the material into a mold Knowing it's sand helps to better understand the rough look of the bottle opener Back to the bottle opener itself First impression: solid and heavy in the hand 6.3 ounces I was a little concerned that it was for Might not be strong enough with repeated use but I think the rough look got me thinking about it.It looks a bit plain and definitely very rustic.I flipped it over and thought that was the one on the bottom attached piece for is. About 2 months later I still have no idea. If it means anything to submariner, then not for that is for me). He opened the bottle exactly as he should and I no longer worry about his ability to open bottles. it's strong Overall I think this is good news that you can really use. I find a magnet on the bottom would be more useful than "whatever it is". However, this requires a fairly strong magnet so that it does not end up on the ground later. It would have been a little more visually apt if it was blackened cast iron, but I think I could always do it if I wanted at some point. I have slight concerns if the masts and antennas at the top are strong enough to be accidentally dropped or if they used glue there that would withstand the firing process to turn the cast iron black.
