This lens is amazing. With the soft focus (low f-number) you can create very abstract, painterly images, which also gives a glowing effect. Or you can take really sharp pictures with a higher f-number. It takes practice and a steady hand (or a tripod). It's a fully manual focus lens, so you'll need practice, but it didn't take me long to get the hang of it. They sent the lens in a few days as promised. And this lens is sold out or in stock in most photo stores! LOVE IT!
