DO NOT PURCHASE! SODIUM OVERDOSE.

I was excited to try this food with my dogs. They LOVED the taste on day 1 and eagerly begged for more. But I quickly noticed that both dogs had softer stools and had to ‘go’ more frequently. I chalked it up to the diet change (even though I was mixing it with their old food). Next I noticed both dogs drinking a LOT more. Even waking up several times overnight for a long drink of water. Which led to them urinating more frequently and even having accidents in the house - this never happens. I also noticed my smaller dog acting depressed and subdued. Then both of my dogs began vomiting up yellow bile. My dogs don’t have sensitive stomachs. They’ve tried MANY brands of dog food, treats, and human foods without so much as a stomach grumble. Now get this. I’m a vet tech, so I’m used to analyzing dog food ingredient labels. At first glance, this one looked great. Real ingredients, no artificial flavors or colors, and real added veggies. But then I noticed there is NO specification of how much sodium is in this product. Sodium is listed in the active ingredients, but not in the Nutritional Analysis where it should also be. Sodium must be under a certain (small) percentage in order to be beneficial to dogs. I even downloaded the full ingredient list from Purina’s website, and lo and behold, it still isn’t specified. It’s convenient that the sodium content is not transparently labeled, meanwhile both of my dogs are exhibiting symptoms of sodium overdose. The exact symptoms that every other negative review here listed. For anywhere unaware, the symptoms of Salt Overdose in dogs includes: vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, lethargy, incoordination, excessive thirst or urination. In severe cases: tremors, seizures, coma, and even death are possible. This food is not causing temporary gastroenteritis, as some reviews suggest. Gastroenteritis is primarily vomiting/diarrhea - NOT extreme thirst and urination along with a host of other issues.I’m extremely disappointed in Purina, who claims to be "transparent” in all ingredients. A refund through Best Buy is not an option, and I can’t even get ahold of Purina by phone.Do not endanger your dogs with this food.
